Community for Health: Promoting Self-Care
Where do we go when we don’t want to feel alone? What is going on with your health that others can support you with? Ever want to help others struggling with the same issues? All these questions can be answered with COMMUNITY! Here at Vibrant Self-Care with Sarah, we have a community of individuals seeking better self-care practices to create a vibrant life. How do you feel with your current health? Do you think there is room for improvement? Has the day to day life been bringing you down or wish you had more energy? We all have choices, some we make for the better and some really don’t help our wellbeing. Being mindful of our actions and considering positive solutions and actually implementing them can bring great rewards. After all we can’t give what we don’t have!
Coming soon January 2022, will be our first Self-care challenge. Why not: New Year, New You?! Together we will have a monthly calalendar of daily suggestions for self-care activities. Each week will be prompted with a reminder of the Self-care menu. Feel free to personally indulge and share your experiences with others. Together we can give support and share each others triumphs and struggles. There are no wrong ways to participate. Just do your best, set time for yourself daily and checkin often as you can. We need you as much as you need to put yourself first!
Being a caregiver for over 20 years I know firsthand my health hasn’t always been a first priority. I’ve struggled with my weight most of my life. Its an ongoing battle! I chose to pursue a Masters degree in Health Education because so many of us struggle with our health. I’ve always enjoyed learning and wanted to continue the path of helping others. Health education is a broad scope. There is so much to consider for our well-being. I created a course, The Roadmap to Health: 8 Avenues of Wellness. This course gives general principals of what completely contributes to our health. I would like to invite you to see for yourself how attention to all areas of wellbeing can have a great impact on your health.
